RealView Live Holography

I've looked in to a company called RealView Live Holography that specializes in a unique way of using holograms for the medical industry. Instead of using the typical way of creating holograms they recreate the holograms by accurately reconstructing points of light in mid air that in turn will create a hyper-realistic user experience and it's very high quality. By doing this it creates a full colour and real-time hologram. They call this concept Image Intimacy.

There have been a lot of limitations to Holography such as:
Poor image quality: Physical parameters such as coherence, SLM properties and others, make it technically difficult to create high quality holograms.
Non-colorful image: As different wavelengths requires different CGH, different electro-optical elements and a different optical system to control the propagation of the specific wavelength light.
Poor viewing angle:  Due to large pixel size compared with the light wavelength, the optical power of an SLM is weak.
Small image size: There is an inherent tradeoff between the viewing angle and the image size.
Poor dynamic image: In order to calculate high quality digital holograms the conventional methods require an extremely powerful super computer.
Non interactive hologram: As the image appears between the user and the SLM, its location relative to earth would change per viewing position.

RealView on the other hand have found ways to overcome this by inventing a new system.

'RealView Imaging has managed to invent and develop a system that can receive volumetric stream such as 3D Ultrasound or any other static or stream of volume/s, convert it in real-time to interference patterns and project true holograms using these interference patterns. The holograms that are projected are with high resolution and quality, they are with full color and can be viewed from a very wide angle.' - http://www.realviewimaging.com/?page_id=156

Museums

I've been looking up different types of museums such as art and science museums, as good as they are at the moment I thought implementing some sort of holographic interaction would be a nice idea to further look in to the way the artists use different colour variations or brush strokes to create a certain part of their masterpiece. Such as Leonardo Da Vinci's Mona Lisa. Having the ability to zoom in and clearly see the brush and colour techniques to create a certain part of the face or background and then have it explained to you, to me I thought this would be a wonderful idea.

It doesn't just have to be art it could be things like dinosaur or animal skeletons. Having the ability to zoom in and mess around with the skeletons and being able to chose a certain bone on the skeleton and it tells you what type it is.

Holograms

I've been researching up on Holograms for my futures project. I'm hoping to implement it in to museums some way. I was primarily thinking it could be used to show the different types of techniques used to create something like a painting or the bones in a dinosaur skeleton. I'd like to do something along those lines,

I was thinking the Holograms could be interactive like in the Iron Man movies where you see Tony Stark taking 3D models from his computer screen messing with them, expanding them, rotating them and even throwing them somewhere else.

There have been studies that already show hologram manipulation such as RealView's Medical Interactive Holography. "We don't use 2D screens or eye-wear to recreate the holograms by accurately reconstructing points of light in mid air that creates a hyper-realistic user experience presenting high quality, full colour and real-time holography. They call the concept called Image Intimacy that let's users a full freedom to engage with the 3D image. In their system they can move it, rotate it, zoom it in any way they see fit."- CEO & Founder Aviad Kaufman

I've been watching a few movies that implement holograms such as Iron Man, Jurassic World and Star Wars. These have given me the inspiration to come up with the idea of interactive holograms for all types of museums such as art or science.
